Carrie Cort
Carrie is our Marketing and Business Development Director. She’s been with Take
One since day one! But in her previous working life she was:
Responsible for marketing and running commercial training courses in further
education colleges. She has extensive experience in developing bespoke training
programmes within many industries as well as database development and client
management. She was also an NVQ Customer Services trainer and assessor.
Carrie has set up training and work experience placements in the multimedia
industry for audio visual students coming to the end of their college courses.
Placement providers included the BBC, ITV, Government video units and a range
of Corporate Production Companies.
What does Carrie get involved in at Take One?
Carrie is responsible for developing client relationships and is always the
first port of call for a prospective client. On a daily basis she ensures that
the whole administration and marketing set-up works effectively and, is unrelentingly
customer-focused: “Customer service is really vital to me…. I’m passionate about
it and how we walk our clients through the whole process, from starting out
as an enquirer wanting to know a bit more about us, to becoming a loyal customer
and using us for all their multimedia projects.”

“I enjoy organising special events for our clients where we can say thank
you in a more informal setting than the office environment. We have taken clients
to the House Of Magic in London and the Golden Hind on the South Bank. In both
cases we used actors and performers to spice things up. Then there was the Goodwood
Festival of Speed, and Cowes Week. Because my background is in event management,
I always look to do something a little different and engaging for our clients."
