John KempWith over 23 years as a professional photographer and qualified by the British Institute of Professional Photography, John has developed wide ranging skills. From architecture and landscapes to boardroom portraiture and corporate P.R. photography. John is equally at home inside or out. In 1984 he joined one of Europe's leading Research and development organisations where he managed the busy photographic dept. Here his assignments often proved demanding and he developed particular skills in creating exciting images of hi-tech equipment and scientific facilities. Since then the client list extends to all sectors of business and industry. "As a photographer I need to have the ability to think on my feet and react to fast changing situations. However planning is the key to many a shoot, particularly if the reason for the photography is publicity. Often the client just knows they need some professional photographs. I make sure that I understand the whole story fully, from subject matter, advertising media in which the images will be used to target audience. I can then put all these together to create eye catching images which tell that story in the most effective way."
