Blatchington Sixth Form College

Take One was commissioned to produce an engaging and exciting promotional video
by Blatchington Mill Sixth Form College.
Targeted primarily at prospective students, the programme used colourful animation
graphics and lively cover material to show off the best assets of the College.
The programme was released as a Podcast, on DVD
and on USB memory sticks which contained a downloadable version of the video
as well as an electronic version of the college's full prospectus.
USB memory sticks enable the video files to be easily shared and forwarded
to friends of the recipients via their mobile phones and devices and can act
as an environmentally friendly option for distributing the traditional paper
prospectus.

Client Feedback:
Q. What would you consider the best element of Take One's service?
"Take One's understanding of our brief and the nature of our business,
as well as really understanding our USPs and target audience, this made them
great partners to work with. They were very flexible, always went that extra
mile, none of my requests phased them, I knew this would be the case from working
with them in a previous project, but it was good to see what I already knew."
Q. Are you happy with the final product?
"Everyone is really happy with the final video. In fact we showed it
at our recent open evening and I know it really impressed lots of potential
students."
Q. Do you feel you will see a return on investment?
"All I need is 4 extra students who then go on to achieve 3 unit / learning
outcomes and I will have covered the cost of the video. We planned the content
of the video carefully so it would have a 3 year shelf life, so 4 students in
3 years, that's easy. This is the first video the college have ever commissioned,
prior to it I would have spent between £3,000 and £4,000 per year
on paper assets, so there will be a huge saving here anyway."
Q. Would you work with Take One Productions again?
Yes, it would be a pleasure!
Mark Brunet
Business Manager
"I just wanted to let you know that the film has been very well received
by our year 11 students now that we have shown it to all of them and I wanted
to say thank you for all that you did. Parents seem to like it too!"
